Mahindra Blues, Mumbai

Mahindra Blues is a two-day upcoming music festival in India 2017 and is going to give your soul a refreshing trip where you are going to witness a thrilling and guitar ripping performance. This is the one of the top most music festivals in India that takes place in the Mehboob studio in Mumbai. This festival started in the year 2011 and has featured international legends like John Lee Hooker Jr., Walter Trout, Taj Mahal, and Buddy Guy among others. This festival has also presented the platform to Indian blues bands; these are the ones who performed with International blues artists. This year, we are going to host this music festival in India for the seventh time. The line ups are Blues artists like Blackstratblues, Graine Duffy Band, Shemekia Copeland, Janiva Magness, and Quinn Sullivan.

Hornbill International Music Festival, Kohima

The Hornbill music festival in India is a portrayal of Nagaland's rich culture and heritage. This music festival is organized by the State Tourism and Art & Culture Departments of Nagaland and is held in India for ten days. The Hornbill festival starts on December 1 every year at Kisama which is12 kilometers from Kohima in Nagaland. This music festival in India gathers crowd from all over the world, and there are musicians from India as well as other parts of the globe. They also host a competition which is great and enjoyable to be a part of. 

This competition is judged by various renowned artists of the country.


Magnetic Fields, Alsisar Mahal, Shekhawati, Rajasthan

The Magnetic Field music festival in India has been here just for three years and is attracting groups like magnets. This upcoming festival hosts more than 40 bands and DJs performing on the three stages and is one of the best upcoming music festivals in India 2017. With a gathering of local as well as regional music artists, there are ample of international ones performing this year at the festival. The artists perform at a 17th-century Alsisar Mahal property which has visitors from Rajasthan, Delhi and all across the map.

Ziro is an upcoming music festival in India started in the year 2012 by two guitarists, Anup Kutty and Bobby Hano. This music festival in India is hosted by the Apatani tribe and is a four-day festival from September 22 to September 25. Renowned bands like the Indus Creed, Sha'air, Louw Majaw, Barmer Boys, and Peter Cat Recording Company participate in this music festival. Ziro showcases multi-cultural talents and to add the cherry to the cake, it is a beautiful location which is 5,500 feet above the sea level. 

This is a whimsical event that you cannot miss to attend every year, right ahead in the Ziro Valley, Arunachal Pradesh.


Ragasthan, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan

This upcoming music festival in India is held in a place which you may have heard about only with regard to cultural sites, Rajasthan.
