Trip Expert is someone who is expert in planning trips, giving good advice for travel, helping others have a better travel experience. Sounds Familiar! Travel bloggers are necessarily Trip Experts, who help their readers in planning and experiencing awesome trips.
Trip Expert 2017 is an award given by Travel Bloggers to fellow travel bloggers, recognizing their efforts in blogging and helping people travel better and smarter. As all good things are limited, the Trip Expert 2017 is limited to 101 participants only. Trip Expert 2017 award was officially announced on 23 Jun 2017.

Every blogger who participates in the award may nominate up to 03 bloggers for the awards. You have to just nominate the blogger and there is no need to mention the topic of the blog post, that blogger should write about. Please note that nominations are just to add fun to the contest. You do not need to be nominated or nominate someone to participate in the contest or claim a prize.
You have to publish a post on your blog that must be at least 500 words. It has three sections:-
Once, you have published the post, you need to tweet it with #TripExpert2017 to @tripscam. If you have no access to twitter, you may mail the link to info (at) tripscam (dot) com
Only the above conditions are binding to claim the prize.
Please note that being nominated or nominating others are just for adding fun to the contest. Even if you are not nominated by someone, you can submit the entry and be considered valid. Even if you do no nominate someone, your entry will be considered valid.
In a bid to ensure fair selection of award winners, Trip Expert 2017 Awards will have a panel of 03 external judges to choose prize winners. Sharell grew up in Australia, and has been writing about India travel for US-based About.com and Tripsavvy since 2008. Gitanjali is a travel blogger by passion, content manager by profession and a social entrepreneur by life's calling. She evolved from writing at 10p per word to establishing a content-driven startup, learning the tricks of the trade on her own, all along the way. Her passion for blogging led her to corporate stints with Make My Trip, Educomp, Airtel, and PolicyBazaar. Her blog, Travel By Karma, is about offbeat destinations and curated experiences for being an Army Officer's wife, she says that they don't see a place as a tourist but practically live in those touristy towns. She has inspired many through her writings and has been featured in YourStory, The Times Of India, Times Now, SheThe People, The Better India, Women's Web, Huffington post India, Dainik Jagran and other renowned online publications.. Gitanjali is also Founder of InfertilityDost, India's first fertility wellness platform that helps couples cope with infertility through the power of content, community and counselling. Gitanjali has shown how content is an optimized tool not only to make a living but also to create a social impact. She leads by example and inspired budding bloggers to keep dreaming passionately but with persistence and patience.
Having studied to be an economist, Samarpita is an ex-journalist who took to freelancing after quitting full-time journalism a few years ago. A multi-tasker, she freelances as a content creator-cum-curator for travel and lifestyle brands, a manuscript editor and a travel writer, apart from being a blogger. She has also been recognised and awarded for her digital contribution to United Nations Volunteer projects.
