1. Metro

Five lines, cheap and quick, including the airport line.

2. Bolt and Uber

Both widely used, and the only sensible way to avoid the taxi problem.

Watch outTaxis post their own tariffs on the door, and airport ones can be many times the standard. Check the per-kilometre figure before entering.

3. Trams and trolleybuses

An extensive if ageing network across the city.

4. Airport train and bus

Booking apps in Romania
